Integral Health and Wellness
Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) for Opioid & Alcohol Use Disorders
Supporting lasting recovery through evidence-based medication management and compassionate psychiatric care.
Recovery Is Possible
Addiction is a medical condition—not a personal failure. At Integral Health and Wellness, we provide compassionate, judgment-free Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) to help reduce cravings, prevent relapse, and support long-term recovery.
We work collaboratively with therapists, primary care providers, and recovery supports to help you build a healthier future.
Medication-Assisted Treatment
What Is MAT and How Does It Work?
Medication-Assisted Treatment uses specific, FDA-approved medications to stabilize brain chemistry, reduce or eliminate cravings, ease withdrawal symptoms, and block the euphoric effects of opioids or alcohol.
By helping the body and brain regain balance, MAT allows you to focus on the deeper aspects of recovery — like building coping skills, healing relationships, and creating a healthy future.
When used as part of a comprehensive recovery plan, MAT has been shown to:
- Reduce cravings and the risk of relapse
- Improve daily functioning and quality of life
- Support long-term recovery and stability
MAT combines FDA-approved medications with counseling and behavioral support. Research consistently shows that MAT improves recovery outcomes and reduces the risk of overdose.
